Movia and Aleš Kristančič are synonymous with natural wine in my world. It was one of the first natural wines that captured me and forced my palate to wake up - to pay attention to this natural wine movement. Located between Slovenia (ZGP Brda) and Italy (DOC Collio) in Brda, Aleš and his team take care of this treasure - making wines that are intriguing and often profound. I guess with 200+ years of family tradition and an estate that goes back to the 1700’s, there is history, tradition and just a little pressure to keep up the good work! We think they are doing just that and are so excited to invite you to join us for a tasting of some Movia wines!!
