Miles Garrett

Molly's Wine Crush is back! and oh man, have I got a crush on this wine (and this guy!)! in fact, the whole team is massively crushing on this awesome human - Miles Garrett. This super rad winemaker is located way up in Humboldt County - specifically, in the Willow Creek AVA. One of the first natural producers in California, Miles is showcasing this unique microclimate and landscape with zero intervention allowing the grapes themselves to tell the story! And he's fully transparent with his farming and winemaking practices, nothing added in the cellar, pays his crew fairly, and at the end of the day makes really good wine.

We've got a few of Miles' wine in the shop right now: a Chardonnay that will make you rethink Chardonnay with it's lively, wildness! and the Merlot with it's juicy fruit with a lovely, tannic texture and so, so balanced - it reminded me just how much I love Merlot! OH and the Zinfandel is big, bold, with tannins for days, and a really beautiful wine to savor on these cold autumn nights.
